Slightly delayed, I have good news from the Fitmin DiscDog Fun Weekend 2015, which took place May 23rd--24th 2015 on Žamberk airport.
In a very windy weather (it didn't rain, though, despite the prognosis) and on a not-so-flat field the organisers had a lot stress and also we did not perform best. Actually, Except for Barnabáš, who fell out of the triple extra round for DogDartbee final round, the overal Saturday performance was quite sad =).
As for the Parallel Time Trial on Sunday, we were quite optimistic with Barnabáš but in the knockout part we met our trainer Míša with Chase, who ended the fourth and sent us out on the way. Resulting 10th place is still quite nice though.
With Rufus we qualified ourselves to the Quadruped ``death group" (Jiřka, who ended the second; Mariusz, who wonl; Pavel Kos, true, with the young Maugli, not with Coffee), but we came feeling that we know how to, were calm and not panicking and Mariusz needed a lot force into his second last throw to make us second in the group and not to let us to the final round. Rufus was running and catching courageously and along the wind our throws kept on extending half meter by half meter up to 55 m, which is the qualification limit for the Czech Championship in September. This year we have no excuse and the holiday plan has to be updated a bit =).
